Mount Agung Erupts, Bali Remains Safe For Tourist

Mount Agung has erupted on May 24, 2019 at 19:23 PM local time, with volcanic ash observed as high as 2,000 meters from the peak or approximate 5,142 meters above sea level. This volcano is located is located in Karangasem Regency, East Bali. As reported, the cloudy weather in the regency did not affect the Southern part of Bali neither the International Airport of Ngurah Rai Bali.

In associated with Mount Agung eruption updates, Bali tourism Practitioners have confirmed that Bali remains safe for visiting tourist. Located far from Mount Agung, approximately 70 km away, Ngurah Rai International Airport remains normal with regular inbound and outbound flights and operation.
